Team building games in a swimming pool

From the starting point, they will then swim across the pool to the endpoint, take off the shirt, and hand it to their teammate. The next players should wear the shirt again, swim across, and hand off the shirt to the next player.

Whichever team gets all their players across wins. This traditional game has been around probably since you were in grade school. And tug of war only need one equipment, a durable rope.

This should be a challenging and fun game to play with your friends and family. Extend the rope from each side of the pool, divide players into 2 teams, and position them in their starting line. If you want, you can also have the teams stay on each side of the pool, above the water. Whoever pulls the hardest can get the other team to fall in the pool and lose. Are you familiar with water polo? Divide your guests into 2 teams. Then cover the watermelon with petroleum jelly or vegetable oil and drop it in the middle of the pool.

The first team to get 10 points wins. Have your guests laughing at your next party with the Tipsy Waiter game. You need 2 teams to play this game.

For each team, set up a tray on the ground and put 7 cups filled with water. Then set up 1 bucket for each team on the other side of your yard. One player from each team starts the game by spinning around their bat 8 or more times up to you and pick their trays up.

Carrying their trays with cups of water, they should then make their way to the other side and dump all the remaining water from their tray to the bucket. They will then need to run back for the next player to begin.

The team to fill their bucket first wins! Have 2 teams ready, each with 2 players. For those who find this a bit unhygienic, you can just fill the cups with water and have a separate cup that contains the beer. It even includes 6 ping pong balls. On top of that, you can use it as a floating lounge too. It includes a hoop, 2 water basketballs, and even an air pump for the balls. You just have to snap the glow sticks and throw them in the pool. Everyone can then start picking them up and whoever has the least number of sticks losses.

While this may seem pretty easy and simple, trust us, it can get pretty rough as well. You can check out this glow sticks bulk party favors on Amazon. It already has pieces of sticks with connectors. The relay race flip cup is similar to every relay race where each member of a team waits until the person before him or her is finished. You just need your pool, cups, and a table to flip cups. The further the table is from the pool, the better. To begin, each player from a team jumps into the pool and swim until he reaches the other side.

Once there, they need to climb out, run to the table, maybe drink their beer, and finally flip their cup. After, the player gives a signal to the next player of their team. The first team to get every member across the pool and flip the cups win. With an inflatable bull rodeo , you can take turns riding it and see who or what team can stay mounted the longest. Beersbee is a fun drinking game you can play in or around the pool.

In this game, you need 2 teams, poles, a disk or frisbee, and 2 objects. The poles should be at least 27 feet apart with the objects resting on top of them.

You can check out this beersbee outdoor set by Bottle Bash for the complete set of the game. It includes 2 bottles, 2 telescopic metal poles, and a disc. Each team then takes turns in throwing the disk or the frisbee, aiming to hit either the pole or the object to knock it down. The other team then tries to catch the frisbee and the object to prevent the other team from scoring points.

The swimmers dive down to the bottom of the pool with their toy cars and have to drive them along the bottom of the pool, using the black line as a track. Breathing costs time, so the less breathing during the race the faster.

One of the most amusing and creative games to ever grace the swimming world. It can definitely be played for hours on end, with each game being more diverse and creative than the last. Not only is the game competitive, but it also makes for one entertaining sprint workout.

Picking the storyteller is the first task. This can be a coach or a swimmer, and the storyteller can change after each round. The remaining players all line up at one end of the pool, and the storyteller begins his or her tale.

As the storyteller is creating his or her own narrative, he or she must incorporate the word "pigeon. The storyteller can make his or her tale as tricky as he or she wants -- using words that start with a "P" sound such as pickle, parrot, etc. If a player is fooled and false starts, he or she is disqualified from the game until a new round starts.

Warning: Some of these games are dangerous, and all of them will cause you to become dangerously competitive. But then again, what swimmer doesn't love a little competition?
